Beaches
There are over 120 beaches on Menorca and although many are only accessible by sea you will find that due to the relatively small size of the island you're never far away from one.

Climate

The Winter is mild and wet with average temperatures of 5-10ºC,
summer is dry and the highest temperatures can go over 30ºC,
but thankfully there is always a breeze.
Visitors are advised to drink plenty of soft drinks in summer.

Banks
Open Monday - Friday 8:30am - 2:00pm and all have cash machines.

Postage stamps

Available at tobacco shops, post offices and most supermarkets.

Shops

Open 9:00am - 1:30pm and 5:00pm - 8:30pm and closed Sundays
although many open later and Sunday mornings during peak seasons.

Chemists

Farmacias closed at weekends but there is always one on duty in
each town in case of emergencies.

Fiestas

At many times throughout the year fiestas take place.
They offer an exciting insight into Menorcan culture. Be prepared
as many facilities close during these times.

Transport

Transfers can be pre-booked please refer to our Booking Information
Ask the price for taxis first, as they do not all have meters.
Buses are cheap and  fairly frequent.

Airport

Remember to have some euro coins available for a trolley on departure.
There are Taxis and you can pre book transfers but there isn't a bus service from the airport.
