South Coast at Cala en Porter:
A beautifully appointed 3 bedroom villa with swimming pool and spectacular views to the Mediterranean Sea. Located on the small coast road the villa is set back on an elevated plot and surrounded by colourful gardens. It is within walking distance of the town centre and the beautiful horseshoe beach.

The main entrance is under a covered terrace and leads through large sliding doors to the open plan dining and living area. Seating is arranged around a long coffee table and a feature fireplace. A TV receiving UK Freesat channels, a DVD and VCR together with a sound system in the kitchen to play CD's, Tapes and connect an iPod are all provided for entertainment.

From the living area, through an archway you can see into the fully fitted kitchen. Every modern appliance was included in a recent refit; an electric oven and grill, a halogen hob with chimney extractor, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and large 'fridge freezer. A door at the rear of the kitchen leads outside to the barbeque terrace.

There are 2 twin bedrooms and 1 double with en-suite. Both twin rooms have fans and heaters and the double master bedroom has air-conditioning. All three bedrooms are prettily furnished with ample wardrobe and drawer space, bedside tables and lamps. Both the en-suite bathroom and second bathroom have over bath shower, wash basin, bidet and WC.

A large table, chairs and sun umbrella are arranged on the terrace with the traditional Menorcan chimney barbeque. A few steps up from this level brings you to the swimming pool, pool shower and sunbathing terrace with an ample supply of sun loungers. The pool measures approximately 8 x 4 metres with steps leading in from a Roman end and underwater lighting provides safe bathing after dark. Both this terrace plus the spacious sun bathing roof terrace enjoy splendid views over the bay.

Cala en Porter is a lively resort 15 minutes from the airport and built high on the cliff top. The beautiful horseshoe bay with crystal clear water and sandy beach is framed by cliffs and can be reached via road or steps down from the town. Awarded a Blue Flag (the European Standard for cleanliness and water purity) the beach is recommended for everyone. At the back of the wide sandy beach there is children’s play area and freshwater shower. Pedallos and sun beds are for hire and on the short promenade by the side of the beach, a snack bar, restaurant, bar and beach shop will supply your needs. In the town there are several supermarkets and a wide variety of restaurants, bars and the hotel allows non residents to attend theme nights.

The famous old Troglodyte dwellings known as the Cova d'en Xoroi (Caves of Xoroi) one of Menorca’s most popular attractions offer stunning views by day and are open to visitors. At night the caves become a discothèque.

A regular bus service will take you to the local working village of Sant Climent or Mahon, the Capital and there is a Taxi Rank at the crossroad in the centre. A motorised train passes this villa making trips around the town and to the beach so a car is not essential. However we would recommend one to allow you to see more of this beautiful island.
