The villa is located at Cala en Porter on the South coast and on the road leading to the town. Screened by a perimeter wall and brook fencing, the villa faces south east and enjoys a wonderful sunny aspect.
The villa is elevated from the road providing a raised outdoor dining terrace overlooking the pool. The terrace is positioned conveniently close to the brick built barbeque and the main entrance to the open plan lounge / dining room / kitchen.
All around the 'L' shaped swimming pool there are extensive sunbathing terraces. The pool measures 7 x 6 metres approximately and ranges from 1 to 2 metres in depth, it has interior steps and underwater lighting for safe bathing after dark.
The entrance to the villa is up a short flight of steps. There are two bedrooms, the double room has an en-suite shower, wash basin and WC. The twin bedroom is adjacent to a full bathroom comprising over bath shower, hand basin and WC.
A well equipped fitted kitchenette includes a microwave, gas hob top, gas oven, coffee machine and fridge freezer. An automatic washing machine is provided adjacent to the drying area.
The living area is completely open plan with seating for inside dining beside the kitchenette. For indoor entertainment there is a TV / Video, Satellite receiving Freesat channels and a DVD player. CD's can be played on the DVD or on the CD / radio / tape player.
In addition to the main house, beside the swimming pool there is a twin bedroom with a separate entrance and en-suite shower room. This bedroom is at ground level. The en-suite includes: wash basin, walk in shower and WC.
Cala en Porter is a lively resort 15 minutes from the airport and
built high on the cliff top. The beautiful horseshoe bay with crystal clear water and sandy beach is framed by cliffs and can be
reached via road or steps down from the town. Awarded a Blue Flag (the European Standard for cleanliness and water purity) the
beach is recommended for everyone. At the back of the wide sandy beach there is
children’s play area and freshwater shower. Pedallos and sun beds are for hire and on the short promenade by the side of the
beach, a snack bar, restaurant, bar and beach shop will supply your needs. In the town there are several supermarkets and a
wide variety of restaurants, bars and the hotel allows non residents to attend theme nights.
The famous old Troglodyte dwellings known as the
Cova d'en Xoroi (Caves of Xoroi) one of
Menorca’s most popular attractions offer stunning views by day and are open to
visitors. At night the caves become a discothèque.
